Bill Murphy – President and CEO
In 2001, Bill Murphy, a graduate of Penn State University who is always up for new challenges, founded an IT firm that would provide IT solutions and services that help customers realize both their technical and business goals. Bill has never been afraid to lead RedZone Technologies beyond the current norm; RedZone was one of the first to offer MSP. His commitment to customers has enabled RedZone Technologies to realize consistent growth throughout its history. Proud to have long term clients that rely on the quality of RedZone assessments and assistance, the company stays true to Bill’s original vision and mission: “Delivering on Promises. Customers for Life.”
As the President of RedZone Technologies, Bill knows how important it is to keep the pulse of the heart beat of what’s current in IT and business. Bill founded the CIO Executive Series, a group in which the highest-level IT executives can share expertise, network, and collaborate with other IT professionals in the Washington, DC area. CIO Executive Series members connect with peers and develop relationships through active discussions about technology topics through fun, interesting Virtual Roundtables, online discussion groups, and live events.
In addition to growing RedZone Technologies and the CIO Executive Series, Bill is an adventurer and athlete who has a deep belief in living life without limits. He has experienced true wilderness through an outdoor survival program, walked across coals seven times, earned his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and actively competes as an Ironman athlete. With his love of sharing his personal experiences and connecting with others, Bill created a video blog called billmurphy.tv. Following his personal mission to share stories through billmurphy.tv, Bill began developing a new international online magazine called Beyond Limits Magazine. The magazine, unveiled in January, 2011, captures stories of the strength of people who were told that they cannot be or achieve what they want to be. It is about ordinary people who set out on journeys and adventure of expansion for what it possible.
It is Bill’s wish to bring all people in his reach hope and inspiration for whatever their journey may be. He encourages his employees to search deeply for what inspires them, and teaches that living life beyond limits is an “outside game”. Visit the News page to hear about new talent at RedZone.

James Crifasi – General Manager and CTO
Under the guidence of James Crifasi, RedZone Technologies has successfully developed into a world-class service organization. James has over sixteen years of technical design, architecture, and integration experience. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Algorithmic Theory, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and a Masters of Management Science from the University of Maryland. Serving as Chief Technology Officer, James is responsible for all aspects of technical support, project development, and engineering education for the company. As General Manager, he oversees human resources, finance, and operations.
