In this video I give a vision of monitoring applications from a line of business point of view. The goal of this video is to show you what is possible. In my experience the CIO and technical team can get in trouble not being transparent. Monitoring tools are buried deep in the bowels of the company tech teams and when they are used are so noisy that it creates more confusion than assistance.

I hear countless stories about line of business VPs who want their applications to be running without failure but the business is not willing to invest in IT for proper redundancy across the entire chain of devices, appliances, switching routing, data bases, app servers etc.

It is more assertive to demonstrate IT funding strengths and weaknesses to the line of business VP or Manager presented through an open portal!
